Carpentry

Finish carpentry, encompasses a range of detailed woodworking that adds the final aesthetic and functional touches to interior spaces. Regarding wall trim, this includes elegant crown molding

installed at the junction of walls and ceilings to add architectural interest, baseboards running

along the bottom of walls to conceal the joint between the wall and floor while providing protection, and sophisticated wainscoting, which involves decorative or paneled lower wall treatments to enhance a room's character. Millwork extends to the creation and installation of custom or pre-fabricated elements for key areas like the kitchen, featuring carefully crafted cabinetry, bathroom spaces with stylish vanities, and organized closet spaces designed for optimal storage and visual appeal. Doors, finish carpenters expertly handle the installation of various doors, including interior and exterior options, along with the precise fitting of door hardware such as hinges, knobs, and locks, ensuring smooth operation and security.

Rough carpentry, forms the structural backbone of a building, creating the framework that supports all      other elements. Wood or metal framing involves constructing the skeletal structure of walls, floors,

and roofs using lumber or metal studs, ensuring stability and load-bearing capacity.

Drywall, also known as sheetrock, is then installed over the framing to create the interior wall and ceiling surfaces, providing a smooth base for finishes. Moving to the exterior, Exterior Trim encompasses elements like fascia, soffit, and window/door casings, which not only add visual appeal but also protect

the underlying structure from the elements. Finally, fencing involves building barriers for privacy, security, or containment using various materials like wood, metal, or vinyl, defining property lines and serving functional purposes.
